In Sisters All And Felony b/w Angels On Installment Plan

In Sisters All And Felony b/w Angels On Installment Plan (1994, 7″)

Brise-Glace

After a long dry spell, we now have the original Brise-Glace  7 ”in stock again. The birth of Post-Rock? Maybe. We’d have to consult a rock historian about that one. In any case, it must bethe beginning of something ‘cause these distorted multi-drumbeat grooves that get enhanced and/or obliterated by otherworldly sonic bliss sure are a good time. Features Dylan Posa, Darin Gray, Thymme Jones, and Jim O’Rourke.

Younger Than You Are Now

Younger Than You Are Now (2004, CD)

CHEER-ACCIDENT

Also known as CHEER-ACCIDENT ‘81-’84, as that is when all of these recordings took place. Yes, those were the formative years… In other words: We were in (and/or just out of) high school when we made this stuff, so give us a break!

Dumb Ask (1991, CD)

Dumb Ask (1991, CD)

CHEER-ACCIDENT

This is CHEER-ACCIDENT at their most stripped-down and aggressive. Recorded in November ‘89 (in Steve Albini’s charmed basement studio) before Nirvana’s Nevermind and Slint’s Spiderland, Dumb Ask serves as a vital historical document placing CHEER-ACCIDENT in a sort of “alternative to the alternative” parallel universe which existed concurrently to the more “above ground” bands of the early ‘90’s.

The Why Album

The Why Album (1994, Digital Download)

CHEER-ACCIDENT

This is CHEER-ACCIDENT’s long-awaited (by whom?) pop album, which contains
14 songs of an unrelenting tunefulness that had only been hinted at in previous
releases.
